Re: news coverage on a cloner

is the channel trustable? 60, 70 bucks a fobs! How much the mother company would charge then?

you think this is proxmark iceman? It does look like HID key fobs.

Indeed, 70aussie dollars for a clone.  He's making a fortune,  just pay the taxes and be legit.  The costs for a keyfob is what 0.02cents?!?

And yes, some users claims the dude hangs out here on the forum...

Re: news coverage on a cloner

Funny story. I guess the kid is saving his money now for a fast bike to get  away from the reporter. Or for a nice haircut as a make-over. Apperently there is a big need / market in australia for extra keyfobs. In my surroundings there aren't much buildings with rfid, it is not so commen as it seems in australia. But the aussie police??? 3-4 times running inside a police station and nothing happens? Maybe not a real story?

So bizarr,  feels more like a joke than a proper news story with background research

Re: news coverage on a cloner

still intrigued... looking at the hand of the reporter with the 3 fob copies. He said in the film "...he gave me 3 more fobs..." ....

Those are not T55xx or Q5 chip... Does anyone reckognise those fobs?

If those are the cloner's copies then it can not be from Proxmark, or he must have a special advanced SW branch

Yes this is a current affair. Its a mickey mouse report program which has to come up with any content it can since it airs 3-4 stories every weeknight.

ACA Memetest

They say something like "THEY WILL HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR HOME! YOU WONT SLEEP WELL TONIGHT WHEN YOU SEE THIS REPORT" lol.

Just another topic they jumped on because they have nothing better to report on. No research. He is cloning cards for the original card holder like a locksmith, not magically getting access to peoples homes...
