Unable to simulate HID card with Generic Reader and WT1 Wiegand Tester

I have generic reader, or what appears to be a generic reader, connected to a WT1 Wiegand Test Unit.

The generic reader is inside a Yale KeyMark deadbolt.

I have plans to use it as a demonstration unit at a security conference to demo the proxmark3.

All the HID cards I have work just fine with the unit, but when I read one of those cards with the Proxmark and then emulate it the reader doesn't even register that a card has been presented to it.

I have been using

lf hid fskdemod
lf hid sim [id]

At this point, Im open to any suggestions.

Its not generic, its definitely HID

What version firmware?

Also tried with this lock... Same results.

Works great with any reader I have ever tried that is actually installed in a building...
