Hi!
I have this problem with my PM3> After getting a LF reader I found out that when I put the PM3 antenna to simulate a LF tag the reader wouldn't read it.
The LF tag is recognised by the reader and displays the code on the tag on its LCD, I then loread, losample and losim the tag. A greed LED is on on the PM3 but the reader wouldn't recognize the simulation.
Please let me know why it might be that the tag is not simulating. My flash ver is 20081211.

I'm not sure how to use losim, but you are much more likely to get help with newer versions of firmware. There is an easy binary update for Winter 2010 firmware on the google code download site.
