HackRF Ham It Up Converter

Hi guys, I would like to know 1 simple thing: can the ham-it up converter used to go to lower frequencies with HackRF be used with the included ANT500 antenna or should i need to connect it to another antenna ? Can someone explain me what exactly the ham-it-up does to the signal ?

Yes, you can go lower with ANT500. However, as you know, YMMV. For 10MHz signals, the optimal antenna would be 30 meters http://www.hottconsultants.com/techtips … ength.html.

I don't dare try.
