First time user - Stuck in a loop after flashing

Hi folks,

This is the first time Im working with this device. (Limited embedded b/g). I followed the steps for setup here : https://github.com/Proxmark/proxmark3/wiki/OSX

Right after  step : 23. Disconnect the Proxmark3 from the USB I entered the weird state with proxmark where the orange/red light continues to persist with some clicking noises every few seconds.

I followed the steps exactly as in the wiki.  Also here is the log after flashing

Any help towards fixing it would be highly appreciated. (Or even a nudge in figuring out what is wrong)

Unplug pm3, hold pm3 button, plug it in and flash the bottom while holding pm3 button

No luck with it so far. I just see the message : Waiting for Proxmark to appear on /dev/cu.usbmodemfd121

pm3 is not being detected it looks like.

Nope. Could you please give me a link or some reference to what it is that I am missing?
