Hey all,
AS the title says, I'm a TOTAL newb and looking for any help at all. I'm trying to duplicated an NACD fob (http://www.hallsaccesscontrol.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/NACD-access-control-solutions-halls-access-control-cambridge-locksmith-495x333.jpg)
What hardware and software do I need to copy these? Is it relatively straight fwd? So far Ive bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MGBD66G?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
But it wont even scan/recognise it. Any words of wisdom is greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks a million,
Glenn

your reader seems to be a 125kHz reader
and the keyfob looks like a noralsy kcp4000, 6000 or 8000, which works on 13.56mHz - thus it can not work.
Further more: I guess most (if not all) people here do use a proxmark3, since it is a proxmark3 related forum.
a proxmark3 can handle both frequencies

You are mostly right Mosci but it could be a KCP 300 too from that look, and that is 125 KHz technology.
here is a thread 125 kHz - ISO 11784 / 11785 » Help to decode LF tag NORALYS (KCP3000)

Thanks for your replies guys.
I'll be honest, I dont even know what proxmark is, I just stumbled upon this forum. It looks like a raspberry pi or something? Or I'm I way off?
Anyway, again- any help is appreciated. Any advice on hardware I should use and how to go about it?
Cheers!

rfid"hacking" is not like burning dvd's...There is a LOT Youll need to learn, and a few hundred dollars to spend in gear..
you are better off finding an online fob copy service to do this for you..
OR if you want to learn something new, and put in the time and money, Buy a proxmark3.. Then the people here could possibly help you..
