win7 x64 install cdc drivers error
hey geeks, I update my PM3. yesterday,butsomething wrong, look forhelp.
the PM3 was r651.I follow the website to run the"flasher-new-bootrom.bat" in ar756 package and succeed.however,whenitried to install CDC driver,Windows says"error,can't find some files and balabala...".
now I run the proxmark3.exe in r651 and use "hw version" command, it shows:bootrom version=r755,OS=r651.
I wonder if the version things matter in the driver installing error? how to install the CDC driver correctly?
ps.the *.inf and *.sys have been put in the right folder.

That was an old firmware. Its been quite documented here on the forum how to upgrade from old bootrom to new.
In short,
use old flasher to flash latest bootrom on to device.
use flasher to flash latest fullimage on to device.
The old flasher is under the client/hid-flasher if you pull the latest source from Github.

thank you,iceman.I wonder it wokrs.However,after I upgrade my bootrom and error in installing CDC driver,the com interface is not found,which the new flasher need.

you need to install the new driver. Follow the instructions on wiki. https://github.com/Proxmark/proxmark3/wiki/Windows under section "PROXMARK DRIVER INSTALLATION" However you only need to use the .inf file from github under "drivers" folder.
