[solved]Mifare classic SNOOP or SNIFF?
1) Can anyone tell me briefly the difference between SNOOP and SNIFF Mifare classic?
I want to find the key between the card and the reader.

2) Can you simply sniff without using a PC?
Can Proxmark set up Sniff mode with PC, turn Proxmark off, sniff out keys using PowerBank, go home to PC, turn Proxmark on, read stored data from Porxmark?
I read a lot on the forum, but the more I read I have bigger chaos.

Have you done the check on which blocks is encrypted ?
Have you tried nested attack ? yes and work (stop) / yes and not work (go down)
Have you tried hardnest attack ? yes and work (stop) / yes and not work (go down)
Have you tried the crapto method (sniffing) ? Where the trace ? (dont get caught doing this) just an easy piece of advice.

I don't think so for this. Wait for someone to answer this.

Sniff / Snoop is the same functionality but is used intermixed in the pm3 client. Confusing yes, and some of the sniff/snoop commands work bad.
When using it, its all about finding the sweetspot for the pm3 antenna between card / reader. Use hf list for some of the sniff/snoop to get the communication. For HF SNOOP, you will need to look at data plot.
