Hi,
Does anybody hold cp1000d by any chance?

I'm not sure where the 'D' comes from or if it differs from what I have. The encoder I use is an Omnikey 5427UE. If this device is no different from the cp1000d then perhaps I can help?
The hardware is certainly capable of re-programming iClass tags. I do this often using my own software and firmware.
It is not possible to create identical cards using the CP1000 as it is incapable of changing the UID.

Hi 0xFFFF,
Thanks for your input ! 'D' just indicates it's a desktop version, so it's identical to regular cp1000.
How are the software and firmware provided by HID? May I ask the reason why you are using your own firmware and software ?
And can I contact you via email? Unfortunately, I have no idea what your modhex address that you put on your profile is..
Thanks !

Oh OK. I suppose I have a 'D' version too then.
HID and the stupid naming conventions!
The CP1000 can read, program and re-program iClass or iClass SE (blank, configured or pre-programmed).
The software can be downloaded from the HID Drivers & Downloads page.
Can't recall if the firmware is contained within the AsureID installer or is downloaded by it. Either way, if you decompile it you can find out for yourself.

The software and hardware solutions offered today are woefully inadequate.

Easy... decode it here: Card Info.
Thanks !
You're welcome
