I'm following this guide: https://github.com/Proxmark/proxmark3/wiki/Debricking-Proxmark3-with-buspirate as well as this one: https://scund00r.com/all/rfid/2018/05/18/debrick-proxmark.html to de-brick my PM3 RDV2. However, whenever I try to run OpenOCD, I get the following output:
Info : Buspirate JTAG Interface ready!
Info : This adapter doesn't support configurable speed
Error: JTAG scan chain interrogation failed: all zeroes
Error: Check JTAG interface, timings, target power, etc.
Error: Trying to use configured scan chain anyway...
Error: sam7x.cpu: IR capture error; saw 0x00 not 0x01
Warn : Bypassing JTAG setup events due to errors
Info : Embedded ICE version 0
Error: unknown EmbeddedICE version (comms ctrl: 0x00000000)
Info : sam7x.cpu: hardware has 2 breakpoint/watchpoint units
I inserted a 6-pin header into the proxmark, and connected the SparkFun cable to each pin. I didn't solder the pin header to the Proxmark3, I only inserted the header pins through the holes, then connected the sparkfun cable onto the pins protruding now..
EDIT: I tried this as well with disconnecting the 3v3 white wire and powering the proxmark over USB, still nothing.
No matter if I follow the pin instructions from the official guide or scund00r's guide, I get a similar message. The only difference is, when I use scund00r's pin layout for the RDv2 I get "Error: JTAG scan chain interrogation failed: all ones" instead of all zeroes.
Can anyone provide some pointers/recommendations as to what I should do to try and talk to the proxmark?

i should have clarified- I followed scund00r's tutorial when buying a Bus Pirate as well, I have a version 3b Bus Pirate with 6.0 firmware flashed onto it that contains OpenOCD support.

Good evening batman192, normally the pirate bus V3 & ok for the procedure jtag, good-evening.
Re, in / proxmark3 / tools / jtag_openocd have you check the two necessary files, interface bus pirate check settings & in chip-at91sam7s.cfg. Good luck for my part I had to also do a jtag I ordered at lab401 equipment, have a pirate bus V4 but it does not & also Ulink2 ditto not the job.

THIS HAS BEEN FIXED!
The pinout diagrams available online were not valid for my RDv2. I worked with someone to identify the proper pinout diagram. The default configuration was a-okay.
KEY NOTES:
-The pin header does NOT have to be soldered onto the Proxmark, BUT it's recommended since the fullimage flash takes a while and you'll need stable contact with the pin header and Proxmark.
-I recommend a curved pin header, easier to understand what cable goes where
I'll be putting together a guide and videos hopefully for how to do this yourself and how to identify pins yourself as well, going from zero to unbricked Proxmark.

great that you managed to unbrick your RDV2.
I also unbricked an old proxmark3 (green PCB) with bus pirate some years ago
//edit: a (video) tutorial would be great, I'm interested

@Mackwa It's not quite a video tutorial BUT I did put together a step-by-step guide on how to un-brick an RDV2 here: https://b4cktr4ck2.github.io/De-Brickify-Pm3-RDV2/
I'll also reply to the sticky with my guide.
