[RDV4] Bricked or not Bricked ?

Dear community,

I recently had a problem with my proxmark rdv4.0 with blueshark.

I am currently on Kali and on Windows.
During my flashing procedure on Kali (with pm3-flash-all), the script stopped and was not more responsive (don't remember where exactly tho). I had to Crtl+c to stop everything.

(Not sure if ModemManager was running tho)

After unplugging and plugin again the proxmark to my kali, I couldn't access it anymore (not showing with sudo dmesg | grep -i usb)

Decide to give it a try on windows but when I plug my proxmark in, I receive an error saying that The USB device is not recognised.
When I go to device manager, I can see Unknown USB Device (Device descriptor Request Failed), if I go to properties of that I can see : "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

I tried to pm3-flash-fullimage with my windows, but I am waiting for my proxmark to appear..

Therefore the title of this Post, Is it Bricked ?

What can I do?

Thank you in advance

Re: [RDV4] Bricked or not Bricked ?

try the button trick,  and flash bootloader,  if that works,  flash fullimage afterwards.   If it doesn't work, you soft-bricked it and need to JTAG it to get it back to working state

Make sure you kill modem manager before you try anything
