Hello everyone. I stumbled across the Proxmark3 and this forum while looking for how to clone my work RFID tags. I've been reading up on everything RFID and it's all quite interesting. I love tinkering and learning how things work and a Proxmark3 looks like it could be a lot of fun
The cards I have that I'd like to clone are a clamshell Indala card (I'm presuming as it has "ASP by Motorola" embossed on it, so probably made by Motorola/Indala before the HID buyout), and an HID card that I'm not so sure about (It has "HID 0005K" and the UID on it; it doesn't read on the Motorola reader at all so possibly a 13Mhz?).
I gather that I have to use a T55x7 tag to emulate the Indala format.
Is the T55x7 the only generic tag that can be used to clone tags?
I'd like as small and thin as possible a tag to clone to to fit inside my phone case but all I've been able to find with a T55x7 chip are key fobs and credit card size cards. There seem to be many more options using an EM chip such as stickers and coin shaped tags that would be ideal.
Does anyone know where I might find T55x7 tags in some of these more useful sizes? Or if there are options using an EM chip to clone the Indala card (and possibly whatever the other one is)?

I believe the smallest you can get is about 2 mm thick and 13 mm diameter -> http://lmgtfy.com/?q=rfid+disc+tag+13+mm
There is also the Label Sticker (but last time I checked it was only available @ 13.56 MHz).
Or you can easily extract the antenna+chip from a clam shell card. Be careful as the antenna coil is quite thin.
In any case there is a MOQ and you won't be able to buy only one piece.

I should have mentioned that I've found a bunch of Chinese manufacturers that have a minimum order of 500-1000 but I was hoping there might be a retailer that sells the smaller T55x7 tags as well.
Taking the chip and antenna from an existing tag is a good idea and might just be thin enough, if I can't find somewhere to buy them.

I have some of the KEY-02 style keyfobs already (I got them from you last week along with a Proxmark3 and antennas ).
I have successfully cloned my Indala card to the keyfob and used it at work today, now I just need to get the HID tag cloned, which is proving a little more difficult.
What I would really like are tags only 1mm or less thick but also small like the keyfobs so that I can fit them discretely inside my phone case. What I will probably have to do is try to get the chip and antenna out of a keyfob.

The 13mm disc tag will definitely do it ! The thickness is just a little bit more than the thickness of a SIM card or a bank card.
It fits in an iPhone (next to the battery) for example.
It's the thinner you can get if you want the antenna/chip secured in plastic.

Unfortunately I can't see any results for T55x7 tags when I search for "rfid disc tag 13mm" that aren't from an MOQ seller (maybe I'm just blind).
Do you of a retailer that sells what you're talking about in small quantities?

Tell them you need 10.000 pcs but first you want to receive some samples to see if it is "working" with your system ^^
