Hi - Apologies for what may well be a stupid question - I am stuck in the noob zone!
I have the Proxmark up and running on Ubuntu.
Firmware is PM3RDV4
Client is:- RRG/Iceman/master/V4.9237-3053-gd8e39b19b
When I try a simple HF Search on an NXP MiFare Classic 1k - I get:-
No Known/supported 13.56 Mhz tags found.
If I HF Tune I can see the mV drop when the card is introduced
HW Status gives me
Anicol Override - std
BCC override - std
CL2 override - std
CL3 override - stdRATS override - standard
Only issues may be in VARIOUS with DBGLEVEL - 1 (ERROR)
I just want to copy a simple standard 1k card.... where am I going wrong?

.... 14a usually wants some distance between tag and antenna. About 1-2cm, I tend to use a post-it block.

Hey thanks but that doesn’t seem to fix it... if I do a hf 14a info what would I expect to see as a return?

Is there a way to check that the Proxmark unit is properly functional? It appears to work. The TUNE command seems to give reasonable results, but I just cannot read a tag...if there a way to test if its me or the unit?
